Steel structure EN1090 (CPR_305/2011/EU)
The EN1090 certification of steel (aluminum) structures, which refers to the CE certification of steel (aluminum) structures, is an assessment of the quality control ability of steel (aluminum) structure manufacturing enterprises. Goods with CE marks indicate that they meet the requirements expressed in a series of European directives such as safety, health and environmental protection.EN1090 standard specifies the use requirements of steel (aluminum) structures to ensure that steel (aluminum) structures have sufficient mechanical resistance, stability, usability and durability. EN1090 is the standard for steel structures under the building materials regulation CPR (Regulation (EU) No 305/2011) in CE certification.The standard was implemented on September 1, 2012 and will be enforced on July 1, 2014.The EU stipulates that after July 1, 2014, all steel structures entering the EU market must obtain the EN1090 certificate before they can be allowed to be sold in the EU market.

EN1090 certified product range:

1.In buildings and civil engineering: building materials, components, systems, etc;

2.Prefabrication system: house, garage, tower (wind energy equipment, etc.), derrick, etc;

3.Structural steel, aluminum structures and kits;

4.Composite steel and concrete structural steel parts;

5.The above components can be used directly or in building work, or as structural components of the kit;

6.The above components can be made of hot rolled, cold formed or other components produced by other technologies;

EN1090 certification points

EN1090 certification is an audit of steel structure enterprise system. Mainly assess the quality control ability of the enterprise. It mainly includes: qualification of welding personnel, material certificate, quality control documents, establishment of welding system, and product testing.

The main points to be certified in general are as follows:

a.Establish the factory production control system FPC; Refer to EN 1090-1, 6.3, P19;

b.Select the execution level EX1~4; Refer to EN 1090-2, A.3, P 107;

c.Verification of material certificate; Refer to EN 1090-2, 5, P25,

d.Establish welding system; Refer to EN 1090-1, Table B.1, P26;

e.Determination of product performance parameters; Refer to EN 1090-1, ZA 1, P30;

f. Sign the declaration of conformity and use the CE label.

Standard composition of EN1090

EN1090 is the standard for steel structures under the building materials regulation CPR. This standard has been implemented since 01/09/2012 and has three parts:

Key points of FPC audit:

1.General requirements

Establish a factory management and control system based on the requirements of ISO9001 documents to ensure that the products put on the market are consistent with the performance parameters declared by the manufacturer FPC system shall include procedure documents, inspection procedures, product testing, sampling and verification records. Inspection results are used to control product quality, production process documents and production flow chart.

2.personnel

Welder certificate and welding operator certificate conforming to EU standards.

3.equipment

Measurement and calibration of weighing equipment, inspection equipment and test equipment. Control of procedure documents.

4.Structure design process

Evaluation of design calculations, evaluation of compliance with European standards

5.Constituent materials (raw materials)

Material certificate or material document, such as 3.1 certificate, 2.2 document (inside the factory) or 3.2 certificate issued by a third party.

6.Material specification

Provide basic performance requirements, basic performance verification and record.

7.Final product inspection

8.Nonconforming Product Handling Process

9.The factory provides the initial type testing report, which can be executed by the factory itself or by a third-party laboratory.

10. Welding system qualification certificate includes welding procedure (WPQR/WPAR), base metal, executive grade and standard. Provide welder manual, etc.

 

EN1090 certification process

1.The enterprise applies to the certification authority and provides factory information

2.The certification authority shall evaluate and provide detailed certification scheme and work arrangement

3.The certification authority arranges steel structure engineers to carry out standard training and coaching in the enterprise, so as to facilitate the smooth progress of later work

4.The enterprise shall submit the factory and product information according to the requirements of the certification authority, and make rectification according to the rectification report given by Eurotest

5.The enterprise arranges relevant welding personnel to participate in the training and assessment of welding personnel; If the factory does not have a qualified material certificate, the organization will help to test and issue it;

6.Conduct product testing

7.The certification authority shall arrange auditors to conduct on-site audit and issue audit report

8.After passing the review, the certification authority shall submit technical documents and relevant certificates to the issuing authority, and the issuing authority shall review, file and issue certificates

9.The certification authority guides enterprises to paste the marks.
